Abstract

We provide two products to solve a range of volcanic welding problems. (1) Executable files for Linux or Mac products that solve diffusion of water in rhyolitic volcanic particles during welding with outputs of the average remnant water and the porosity with time. (2) An editable Excel file for solving welding in any composition of magmatic particles but without syn-welding diffusion. Both products include monodisperse and polydisperse welding models. These products relate to Wadsworth et al. (2019) in revision (full paper will be uploaded on acceptance).
