  I am a PhD student at UCL, London, working with University of Canterbury, NZ and work in the interface between volcanology social science and engineering. My research interests include: approaches to understanding risk and risk assessment. Resilience of societies and social infrastructure. Processes of adaptation to long-term volcanic hazards. Locally-developed risk reduction measures.
