  • Biography
'''RESEARCH''' Sébastien Dartevelle oversaw the multiphase flow modeling efforts of the Yucca Mountain Project (YMP) for the Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management (OCRWM). In addition, he led the Quality Assured, Verification, and Validation process of MFIX (Multiphase Flow with Interphase eXchange) codes which became in 2006 a fully QA-code for YMP applications. His current researches involve further validation efforts against analog supersonic multiphase flows, modeling efforts of multiphase geophysical flows, and development of multiphase turbulence models for geophysical flows. '''EDUCATION''' Ph.D., 2003: Geophysics, Michigan Technological University, USA. B.Sc., M.Sc., 1993: Geology and Mineralogy, Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium.
