VHub is a platform for sharing teaching materials that can range from simple PowerPoint files to audio-video recordings of workshops, to exercises involving use of VHub simulation tools. Materials can be aimed at any audience – including high-school and university students, other researchers, or stakeholders living near volcanoes – and in any language.
Hub’s user-contributed educational resources include a wide range of teaching and learning materials: lesson plans, course lectures, scientific data, visualizations, interactive computer models, and virtual field trips. Resources are submitted by VHub community members, those in both the scientific and the educational communities. The newest educational items can be found at the RSS feed at the Vhub.org homepage.
This is an open group design for those who have an interest in teaching and learning about volcanoes. This group allows members to share ideas, experiences and more with the intention to clarify and disseminate information about volcanoes to students, researchers, and anyone interested and who wants to know about volcanoes. It allows to have discussions on the current state and future of volcano education and more.
